Client: University of Oxford, CNCB (Centre for Neural Circuits & Behaviour)
The Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour is housed in the renovated Tinsley Building in Oxford.
Following a complete internal renovation, Oxford Seating were invited to work with architects Hawkins\Brown to supply loose furniture to not only the laboratory areas but also the office and communal break-out areas.
Specialist optic and fly labs were supplied with a combination of high draughtsman as well as low desk height laboratory chairs from Oxford Seating's own Ethos range upholstered in specialist Naugahyde vinyl.
In contrast to the clinical lab areas, a separate floor of write-up, seminar and office space was furnished with task chairs and breakout furniiture using natural materials and colours. A bespoke coffee table complemented the matching one, two and three seater sofas.
